I check this guide against the game and the official links at the bottom, and update it after game updates.

Quick answer

Blade Ball has no official value list, so traders use two things: community values and the in-game RAP (Recent Average Price). Community values rate Common swords at 1 to 2, Rare at 2 to 10 and Legendary at 3 to 8, with DJ’s Sword of Agility (58) as the big outlier. For Limited and Secret items, check the RAP in the Trade Plaza Index.

Trading came to Blade Ball in update V5.0. You sell items for Trade Tokens at a booth, buy from other players, and check prices in the Index. Since the game has no official values, knowing how RAP works is the best protection against a bad trade.

This page covers community values by rarity, how RAP and boosted items work, every trading rule, and the scams to watch for.

How we checked

How we checked this guide

Trading rules, RAP, Trade Tokens, trade locks and the Pro server come from the Trading page and FAQ of the Blade Ball Wiki, checked on November 3, 2026. Sword values are community values from June 2026. The wiki notes that every value list is community made and not official, so treat them as a starting point and check RAP before you trade.

Top pick

Before any big trade, open the Index in the Trade Plaza and compare the item’s RAP with what you are offered. If an item’s RAP jumped suddenly, it may be a boosted item, so wait a day.

How RAP and Trade Tokens work

  • RAP (Recent Average Price) is set by how many Tokens an item sells for at booths. It moves with every sale.
  • A higher RAP doesn’t always mean an item is rarer. Items with fewer copies are usually worth more.
  • Boosted (projected) items have a RAP pushed up on purpose, sometimes by players buying from their own alt accounts. Their RAP tends to fall back over time.
  • Trade Tokens are the trading currency. 1 Robux equals 1 Token. You earn them by selling sword skins, emotes and explosions.

04

What is trading in Blade Ball?

Trading lets you sell your items for Trade Tokens and buy items from other players. It started in the Trade Plaza with update V5.0. Since update V5.2, the Index can find online sellers across all servers, and you can trade outside the Trade Plaza with any player who has 1 win, isn’t in a match and has trading turned on.

05

How to trade in Blade Ball

  1. Win at least 1 match.
  2. Open the Server Selection and go to the Trade Plaza.
  3. To buy, open the Index, search the item, check its RAP and use Find Seller.
  4. To sell, claim an empty booth, list your item and set a Token price.
  5. Set a trading PIN and save your 8-word recovery phrase.

Want the sword itself, not just its value? See the Blade Ball swords guide for crates and odds.

06

Trading requirements

  • At least 1 win on your account.
  • A trading PIN and its recovery phrase.
  • Wait 20 seconds after joining a server before trading.
  • New items carry a short trade lock. After you trade an item, you must hold it 15 minutes before trading it again.
  • The Pro trading server needs over 50,000 RAP.
07

Is trading in Blade Ball safe?

Trading inside the game is safe. Most losses come from scams:

  • Cross-trading for items or money in other games is against Roblox rules, and the game bans it with zero tolerance.
  • Trust trades, fake giveaways, fake staff, “share your screen” requests and scam links are the most common tricks.
  • The game does not return items lost to scams or hacks. You can only report the scammer with proof.
  • An unfair trade you agreed to is not counted as a scam.

Checked November 3, 2026. Trading rules match the Blade Ball Wiki. Sword values are from a June 2026 community list, so I recheck them against RAP whenever a big update or event adds new items.
