The best Blade Ball abilities are Singularity, Infinity, Dribble, Slashes of Fury and Quantum Arena (S tier). If you play free and only have coins, Freeze, Forcefield and Pull give the most value for their price.

Blade Ball ability tier list
This ranking covers 63 abilities. It follows the June 2026 tier list from Roblox Den, which is the most recent full ranking I could find, and I add notes where other rankings disagree.

Rankings are opinions. Telekinesis, Pull and Raging Deflection sit in S tier on some older lists and in B or C here. Newer abilities like Singularity and Infinity pushed them down the list.
What the S tier abilities do
Singularity
Singularity pulls the ball toward you and fires it at an opponent at very high speed. It came from the Galaxy Spin raffle, where you needed the Galactic Emperor, Galactic Harbinger and Infinity items.
Infinity
Infinity stops the ball from hitting you and gives you a few seconds to send it at someone. It is one of the hardest abilities to play against at close range.
Dribble, Slashes of Fury and Quantum Arena
These three round out the top tier on the June 2026 ranking. Each one is an event or paid ability, so check the in-game shop for how it is unlocked right now.
Best Blade Ball abilities to buy with coins
Most top-tier abilities come from spins, packs or events. If you only have coins, these are the prices players reported for the coin shop. Prices can change after an update.

My pick for a new account is Freeze. AllThings How reports that Day 2 of the daily login rewards gives it for free, so you can save your first 2,000 coins for Forcefield or Pull.

How ability upgrades work
Most abilities can be upgraded twice. The first upgrade costs half of the ability’s price and the second costs the full price. Upgrades cut the cooldown and make the effect stronger.
Example: Freeze costs 2,000 coins, so its first upgrade is 1,000 coins and its second is 2,000 coins. That’s 5,000 coins for a fully upgraded Freeze.
Passive abilities like Quad Jump, Luck, Reaper and Guardian Angel need no button press. Everything else is triggered with Q or right click on PC.
Best ability for your play style
- New players: Freeze. It buys you time when the ball gets too fast to block.
- Defensive players: Forcefield or Infinity, since both stop the ball from hitting you.
- Aggressive players: Pull or Singularity, which let you control who the ball goes to next.
- Coin farming: any ability that keeps you alive longer, because you earn more by surviving rounds.
