4 ways to get swords in Blade Ball

MethodWhat you spendWhat you get
CratesThe crate price shown in the lobbyA random sword skin or explosion effect
Wheel spinsSpins from codes, events or RobuxRandom rewards that include sword skins
CodesNothingSome codes give a sword or a spin

Sword skins are cosmetic. They change how your blade looks and don’t change your block timing, so pick the one you like and spend coins on abilities first. The ability tier list shows which abilities are worth it.

How to open crates in Blade Ball

  1. Go to the main lobby.
  2. Walk to the spinning wheel in the middle of the lobby. The crates sit next to it.
  3. Stand in front of the crate you want, such as the Normal Sword Crate.
  4. Press E or click Purchase to open it.

Each crate gives either sword skins or explosion effects, depending on which crate you open.

03

Free swords from spins and codes

Most Blade Ball codes give a free wheel spin, and the wheel can land on a sword skin. A few codes give a sword directly. This month, 4BVISITS and SPOOKYSEASON both give a sword, and SERPENT enters you into a giveaway for the Serpent Katana.

The full list with rewards is on the Blade Ball codes page. Redeem every code before you open a crate with coins.

04

Buying swords in the Trade Plaza

The Trade Plaza is where players sell items to each other. You need at least 1 win to get in.

  1. Walk to the Server Selection portal in the lobby.
  2. Pick Trade Plaza.
  3. Use the Index in the middle of the map to search for a sword and see its RAP (recent average price).
  4. Click Find Seller. If someone is selling it, you can join their server and buy it.

Items in the Trade Plaza are paid for with Tokens. You get Tokens by selling your own items from a stall or by buying them with Robux (50 Tokens cost 50 Robux).

Before you buy a rare sword, check what it usually sells for. The Blade Ball value list has prices by rarity.

Finishers are another cosmetic effect. The VIP game pass (240 Robux) includes the Whitehole finisher, a custom sword slash color, a VIP chat tag and 2,000 coins.
